Finaly after doing alot of rock work and woodwork we got a deck.  We still call the lean to "The patio" as it was open when we bought the house. I started closing it in and finished it as a mud room before we started on this landscaping project.

It is nice that Stella and I can have dinner out on the deck now too

Stellla's garden is starting to produce

Nice to see a green garden with such a dry climate.

The steep bank and the house offer some protaction from the deer.

We ordered a truck full of 6" drain rock to fill in between the 3x4's

Kind of a experiment, I am building a self watering planter on the right.

Finaly deck stain applied on all 6 sides on left. The right side has not been stained yet.

Lots of laminating to finish the long board look.
